Mark P. Turski

I am a Professor of Earth System Science Education in the Department of Environmental Science and Policy at Plymouth State University.

I obtained my BS in Soil Science from the University of Maine at Orono in 1976. I worked at Sweet Potato newspaper before returning to UMO and obtaining secondary science teaching certification. What followed was six fun filled years of teaching earth science in the South Portland, Maine school system. I returned to UMO for my M. Ed. in Science Education in 1986. Upon completion of that adventure I headed to the University of Texas for a Ph.D. and the greatest social shock of my life (this was not an intended outcome).   Oh I didn't mention RUGBY!

My Vitae - A look at my professional life with links. It is not quite up to date, complete, and the old material has not been edited since I started using Netscape Navigator back in the last century to start building it. But it will give you an idea of what I do to stay out of trouble in Plymouth.

COURSES - Courses that I teach at PSU and the accompanying course materials .
