The Plymouth State University AMA Chapter is about applying our collegiate
course knowledge in real world hands on applications. Essentially depending on
the students involvement, the AMA becomes an on campus business internship. One
of our main goals is to excel our organization and raise enough money so that we
may attend and compete in the annual marketing conference in New Orleans. We
have subdivided our organization into four subgroups of interest.

other club or collegiate events (student council, PACE, The Clock, Radio
Station, etc,) homecoming, athletic events, raffles, art show, and maintain a
presence on campus.
Off Campus
Responsible for finding and approaching local and regional business and creating
a means for our involvement within that business. An emphasis on establishing
strategic alliances with these businesses. Seeking out means to market our
financial worth to businesses.
A sub group may develop with a focus on finding certain AMA Chapter competitions
and other events that we may enter to gain our Chapter recognition.
Alumni

graduates. Responsible for gathering and disseminating careers and placement
information, coordinating job programs, and assisting in the preparation of
career programs for members.
This group can have a sub group which will be responsible for the publication of
a monthly newsletter. A newsletter is an effective tool to maintain a high level
of Chapter enthusiasm and communication. The newsletter will have a high degree
of focus pertaining to Alumni and including them in our currents projects and
activities.
Membership

of our organization to others, on and off campus. Helping to maintain the avid
growth of a recruitment program, allowing us to maintain our chapter goals. Will
be responsible for the creation and distribution of flyers around campus,
presentations to classes, ads in the Clock, and the campus radio station.
