Virtual Manipulatives

When learning about place value and whole number operations base blocks are a valuable visual aid. We can use the base blocks manipulatives we have available in our classroom or we can use virtual base blocks. There is a website that provides virtual manipulatives. The advantage of this website is that it provides exercises and immediate feedback. The hands-on manipulatives can be used incorrectly and when no instructor is around to check, no feedback will be provided to you.
