UNDER CONSTRUCTION! Introduction: During the winter of 2007-08, teachers from 12 schools in the North Country met over the period of four months to design what appears on these pages. The links to the left contain course competencies for Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. These competencies were designed based on the NH Frameworks and the NH Grade Span Expectations (GSE’s) documents. They were also designed with input from the following documents and organizations: Mathematics Benchmarks from the American Diploma Project of Achieve, Inc. The College Board standards for Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. The web pages on this site also contain several Sample Performance Items (SPA’s) which can be used to assess the competency of students for these three courses.
