2) General Comments on Grading
• Low points but few marks - major issues
• checks - generally carry one point of credit
- no check on topic sentence - need to revise

3) Specific Comments
• AWK - awkward sentence construction - revise for clarity

• Strengthen - you need to get more details into this sentence
• Add details -     "    "    '   "    "    "    "    "        "        "
• Need more.... keep going - add more details
• Unclear/Vague - you need to clarify the meaning of the sentence

• Weak article - has less/little to do with A&P than other articles that you could choose --> you should probably choose another
• Use no quotes - you must put the info in the article into your own words
• ? or unclear - I am not sure what you are trying to say here - read it aloud to yourself or a friend --> revise
• Book? (or) Article? - where is this information form - be sure to be explicit and cite your source
• Broaden - often the topic sentence will be too specific --> it will not adequately introduce the paragraph --> here you need to write a more • general topic sentence (Just be sure that it does contain a few specifics....)
• Citation - you need to cite the article at the beginning of your paper

• anything that is underlined - wrong word, check spelling, etc.
