GENERAL INFORMATION



Course Description:
Course Goals and Objectives: At the end of the course, a student will:
  1. Be familiar with basic principles and techniques of AI such as:
    • search (uninformed and informed);
    • logic and inference;
    • perception;
    • knowledge representation;
    • planning;
    • and learning.
  2. Understand the PEAS (Performance measure, Environment, Actuators, Sensors) model for intelligent agents.
  3. Be able to implement intelligent agents using AI techniques.
  4. Understand what a problem domain is.
  5. Understand the types of problem domains.
  6. Be able to choose appropriate AI techniques for particular problem domains.
