Week by Week
During Week 1 you will do orientation activities in the classroom. Then in Weeks 2-13 you will participate in four, three-week cycles about Land, Living Things, Water and Air. Over the course of each three-week cycle you will complete required assignments, which are located on the outline pages in a section called Assignments & Rubrics. . Click on the links below to access the weekly outlines.

You need to complete your assignments within certain deadlines, so you should always check the Course Outline at the beginning of each new week. Then you can plan when you will do your work.


Orientation

We will discuss the mechanics of the course and develop criteria for effective concept-building activities.

Week 2 & 3

Teacher As Scholar

 

Team Essential Question Scholarship: Agree on answers to essential questions about land. Post useful resources.

Week 5

Teacher As Scholar

Individual Earth Sphere Scholarship: Ask three questions about land. Answer your and your give feedback on teammates' questions.

Living Things

Week 6

Teacher As Researcher
