The Unix Tutorial
Due by Midnight on date of Module #2

General instructions:  Complete the Unix tutorial

Detail instructions:
1. A.  If on the network at PSC, then sign onto "oz"
    B.  If working through an ISP, then use the URL:    telnet://oz.plymouth.edu
    C.  or from the "BU509/contents" page click on the link at the bottom "Telnet to Oz"
    D.  Enter your username and password.

2. Type "tutorial" after the Unix prompt  [% tutorial]

3.  Do each of the little lessons.  You may want to jot down the commands as you go through
     the tutorial as they are commands that you will need to use later.  The tutorial is fairly self-explanatory.
    We have disenabled the "password" lesson because it actually required the student to change the
     pasword, which caused all sorts of secondary problems.
 
4.  When the tutorial asks for the account name of your instructor, know that it is "harding"

5.  The tutorial sends me email which I will save in a file called "BU509/ex1.html".
