I am a Professor of Counselor Education and School Psychology and have

moved into semi-retirement while still serving Coordinator of the Parent Involvement and Education Certificate Program http://www.plymouth.edu/graduate/counseling/certificates.html. I have taught both graduate and undergraduate courses with a focus on school psychology, human development, general education and peace education. I am the 2011-12 recipient of the Distinguished Graduate Teaching Award. My educational background includes a BA in Psychology from UMass/Boston, an Ed.M. in Counselor Education/School Psychology from Boston University, and an Ed.D. in Human Development and Education from Boston University. I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and have been a consulting school psychologist for the Inter-Lakes School District from 1984 to 2012.  I have taught at the college level on a full-time basis since 1984. I have also been a columnist for the Laconia Daily Sun for several years until my semi-retirement. I continue to volunteer as a  parent educator for the NH Department of Corrections, primarily serving Concord Prison.
