Grant Cottam was born in Sandy, Utah on the 26th of August, 1918. He received his BA from the University of Utah (1939) and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin (Botany, 1948). He taught at the University of Wisconsin and is Emeritus Professor of Botany at that institution. |
